1. Acceptance of Terms

The Near One app is operated by LAFLAX Sportmanagement GmbH. By downloading and using the app, you agree to these terms of service.

2. Purpose of the app

Near One helps seniors and their relatives and friends stay in touch in everyday life. The app does not replace medical, legal or psychological advice. In an emergency, please call the emergency services.

3. Disclaimer

We work hard to keep the service stable. As far as the law allows, we accept no liability for short outages, connection problems or incorrect entries by third parties.

4. Subscription, prices and term

The medication list and the emergency call are free of charge for good and work without a subscription. The remaining areas – TV lounge, appointments, memories, game duels and the exchange with others – require a subscription.

After registering, all areas are open for seven days. After that, there is a choice of two subscriptions: 1 CHF per month or 10 CHF per year. The price shown to you by the App Store or Google Play in your currency is the one that applies.

The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the end of each term until you cancel it. Billing goes through your App Store or Google Play account, which is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.

A subscription covers the whole family circle: if one person takes it out, the areas are open to all linked relatives.

5. Termination

You cancel the subscription in your phone settings – on iPhone under “Apple ID → Subscriptions”, on Android in the Google Play app under “Subscriptions”. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, otherwise the subscription renews once more. After cancelling, the areas remain open until the end of the period you paid for.

We cannot cancel the subscription for you – that is only possible through the store where you took it out.

Independently of this, you can stop using the app at any time and delete your account in the app settings. Deleting your account does not automatically end a running subscription.
